GENERAL SESSION

H4H believes much like a general practitioner will do a series of tests to measure general health of a patient, so each Christian school should have at least one general check up each year. The cost of the first “General” session is FREE, though the schools will provide travel expenses (defined as airfare if needed, hotel, car if necessary and meals). The General session will take the better part of a morning, usually about 4 hours. The General session will cover all areas of school operations and is often preceded by materials being sent to H4H prior to the actual meeting. The General session is usually attended by key leaders in the school and Board.

The goal of the General session is twofold. First, to see if indeed there is a genuine need or series of needs for which H4H may offer meaningful assistance. Second, to determine if God has called H4H to serve the school in question. It is vital to understand the exact nature of the issue or opportunity. Likewise, it is of great importance for everyone to be likeminded on how to approach the issue or opportunity. The General session is a perfect forum to accomplish all of the above.

DEEP DIVE

In some instances schools know exactly what they want to do. They simply want another set of eyes or ears to be involved during a very short window of “discovery” or “exploration” of the issue, program, project, idea, etc. This type of service is called a “deep dive.” In essence we will come and spend an entire day with key school leaders and dive deeply into the desired situation. The cost of the “deep dive” is a fixed cost that is less than a stipend most schools would pay a one season coach.

Examples of “deep dives” include strategy sessions on budgeting, annual fund drive ideas, capital campaign approaches, difficult decisions on tuition or financial aid questions, philosophies of textbook adoption, uniforms, enrollment and discipline policies and much more. The “deep dive” is designed to get the maximum exposure on an issue or opportunity as possible. “Deep dives” are specifically helpful when the agenda is clearly outlined and the school is prepared to make a decision based on the findings of the “deep dive.”

FULL PACKAGE

The full package is our comprehensive consulting service. It generally covers every area of a school’s operations. It helps bring Jesus back into focus, and clarifies the school mission across all areas of operations. It develops or revises a working master plan to move the school forward into a successful future. It helps identify, raise up and train new leadership. It can help save thousands of dollars in cost reductions, add thousands of dollars in additional revenues and revenue streams, just by focusing on marketing (which is also evangelism) and taking care of the money. In some cases the raising of millions of dollars will be experienced. It will also improve academic thrust over time with the mentoring program.
